Vantage Optics Ford Econoline Rear Differential Breather Kit

Vantage Optics is now offering a remote rear differential breather kit for the Ford Econoline vans. As it turns out, Ford did not put a common hat-style vent on the breather tube for the E-Series vehicles. Instead they put a simple angled vacuum fitting that is open to water and dust intrusion. This breather kit assembly builds on the OEM setup by providing an extension to the fuel filler door location. This area is much cleaner and less prone to water and debris, allowing you to protect your rear end.

The kits come with a 66" tube fitted with a breather and securing clip along with a union to replace the OEM elbow. The kit requires a single 1/4" hole for the clip to secure and can be located in other spots as well within the line's reach.

Kit Pricing is $20
Shipping is free to the Lower 48 (contact us otherwise)

We will have 3 of these kits available at the meetup this weekend (10/22/17) in Silverado Canyon if anyone is interested in picking one up in person.

Will this work with a Dana 606023-1 semi-float rear axel?

That is the same PN as the setup pictured above. This kit will work if you have the angled fitting in the end of the factory breather tube like the picture shown

Check the front and T-case breather too.

I can't believe Ford just used that plastic angle fitting. I foam rubber over the plastic fitting to at least keep out some dust for now.

I used a Jeep "Top Hat" style of breather on my T-case.

The front breather tube (on my Quigley) had been torn off or cut on sharp frame member?

The picture is what I use on my T-case.

DesertDan-
I do not currently as I don't have a 4x4 myself to model one after. If you can shoot me some info I can get a setup together to make that happen as well. Send me an email to Vantageoptics@gmail.com and we can work it out. Thanks!
