Garage
The fact that you're putting tires on so quickly speaks to your motivation to get on the road - it'll provide a freedom restricted only by your enthusiasm & imagination. Enjoy your new toy.

Thx twoentrix, on the road to the dirt is what we are thinking soon. Perhaps Kings River in Sequoia. As sweetie pie said this is going to be fun.

BTW .... My wrench gave it the once over and confirmed that all things were very much up to snuff with this former Enterprise people hauler. Now for the new radio et al and getting rid of a few seats

My van started life as an Enterprise van too. They have a good maintenance program, and yours should be every bit good as new.

I bought mine at 105,000 miles then re-painted it not-white around 250,000 miles and I have 470,000 miles now.

You’d be surprised how capable your stock van is on fire roads and the like. Especially if you add AT tires. We’ve had our 98 E250 EB on plenty of rough dirt roads (USFS roads, etc.) and it does great with just the LSD rear and Michelin LTX tires. Lots of ground clearance even stock. We have the same running boards and they haven’t gotten in the way, either.

As my kids would say "twin van", I have the same running boards and need to scrap them asap. Also you can get a TP55 bit off Amazon for $12 for the seat bolts. It's not a regular torx t55. I almost rounded one off before I stopped and ordered the right bit. Congrats, let the good times roll!
