Smile Greetings from Cali

Hey sportsmobilers, new guy here looking to get into RVs that can travel off of the beaten path! I don't own a sportsmobile yet however I'm definitely looking into one as it seems to be the most capable off-road vehicle with all the amenities that you'd typically find in a full sized RV!

Welcome. Sportsmobiles and the like (Colorado Camper Van, home brew and others) are great rigs for traveling in the far country. Do you have a budget? Check you local craigslist, auto trader, eBay, and the for sale section of the forum to get an idea of pricing.

You've come to the right place - lot of useful information on this Forum along with volumes of knowledge.
If your actively looking, might check out RV Trader. Been trying to help a friend locate his "dream rig" and they had a couple that looked clean and reasonably priced, but thats subjective & inspection would be prudent.

Fam Vans

Check out Fam Vans if you are in the SoCal area. They are in Fountain Valley by the 405 and 55 interchange. I got a 2007 e350 extnded with less than 50k miles for 14 grand. Wheel and deal a bit. They have LOTS of inventory and a pretty decent website to browse. AGILE Offroad in the San Diego area by the Aluminess (bumpers ladders racks) factory is a good resource for 4x4 also. Good luck!
