MSD - We're not the silver rig, but I see him all the time. We've got a bronze diesel EB50 4x4 with a white top. As to mechanics, I always take our van to Houska - quite happy with them. On our way to pick up the beast now. PM me if you want more info.

MSD-depends on what you need done, mind you I'm in Boulder, I had been going for years to Pellmans for routine stuff-oil/fluid changes but since I don't fit in their garage any more with my new top, they wanted to charge me more, see ya! I had Derek at CCV do a bunch of mechanical stuff, but that was before he got super busy with his builds, and I've had mechanical stuff done at Boulderoffroad, both are recommended. I've turned to Keeter repair for fluids as they usually work on heavy diesel rigs.

Msd,
My first mod I'm planning on is a poptop. Did CCV do yours? I have been thinking I would like something more low pro. Is there anything you suggest? Is there somewhere that you can but a shell top? Or a kit?

HI John,

I still have a tin top but planing on doing a Fiberine 20" Aero top with optional 12x43 window. I contacted them directly to see if I could get a top and they directed me to Boulder Off Road and Colorado Camper Van. I have contacted both Kelly @ BOR and Derek at CCV but no reply as yet… which sorta bugs me just a little.

Pretty sure REF rig has a CCV high profile insulated pop top which I thought about as well... But after talking with Chris at Ujoint earlier this month a fixed top fits my needs better.
