Hi All, new kid on the block

New to the forum, been poking around for a little bit. Trying to decide between the three (MB, Ford and Ram) van platforms for class B conversion. Have learned the most about Sportsmobile and have been to visit them in Austin. Any insight or experience with a build from them and any insight or experience with some of the other custom converters, namely Florida RV Sales, Morehead Designs(now BRAV), Colorado Camper Van, GTRV, Van Specialties and Outside Van.
Thank you in advance for you advice!

Do you have a link? I looked for BRAV and can't find anything.

You might also check out Alaska Camper Vans. Really only one conversion on his site, but man it's gorgeous.

I found a page for Morehead Designs, looks like they do (did) some pretty nice stuff.
Website: Sprinter Van Expediter Custom Camper Vans

And BRAV appears to be Blue Ridge Adventure Vehicles ---

If you are considering a pop-top, Colorado Camper Van tops have a lot more to offer than SMB tops for similar $$.

Excellent, thanks Mike. The Morehead page has a lot of circular links. Was driving me nuts trying to click on all of his 'Here' photos.

Transit, but Bob Murphy of Florida RV Sales didn't have favorable things to say about the transit(he has done a few conversions). He loves the Promaster and I notice many of the really cool european camper vans are done on the Promaster.

Pop Top or Hard Top??
Hard Top

Convert from new or get a used and have it converted your way??
New and made to my liking

Offroad enthusiast or casual offroad or don't need 4x4 at all??
Love the idea of offroad, but realistic and probably don't need 4x4

Sorry for all the questions, but nice to meet you though!!
No worries and thanks for the kind reception
