Just a newbie.

Hi there!
I just got a 2017 Ford Transit 250 cargo van, with the intention of converting it to a camper.
I have a lot of ideas. Some mine and some adopted from folks from all over the cyber space.
My wife and I have been traveling the US for about 20 years in a van(first a Chevy G-20, a motorcycle, and a Chevy Astro) without any conversions. Just a bed and a bucket, and very little amenities.
We want to convert our new van to a more comfortable camper without going overboard with gadgets and systems. We like to K.I.S.S.
I have not red much of this forum, but I am sure I will get lots of great info here.
I think I should start from installing the ceiling vent, some windows and selecting the electrical system that will fit our needs, together with the appropriate solar panels.
I want to thank this forum in advance for whatever ideas and/or advice will come our way.
I am very exited to start with the project!
Thanks
J.A.

Serious props, and a serious upgrade for you. Congrats and can't wait to see what you do with your new rig.
