Let the build begin, Spokane WA

Introducing myself, name is Mike! My wife and I recently bought a 1990 Ecoline 250 High top "129,000" miles, old wine tour van from Yakima,WA.

I have been hiding in the shadows here occasionally for about 6 months and figured since we finally bought our van that it would be a good time to introduce myself. I will be starting a build thread soon. Our excitement for this van and the adventures ahead keep us giddy every time we tell someone about our plans. We are anxiously waiting and trying to be patient as we build and make final plans.

I'm here in Spokane as well. So if you ever want to grab a beer and talk build plans or check out our rusty ride, just let me know.

Thanks for the warm welcomes, you could easily spend hours on the site and through members blog post like I did today. So many great ideas and different ways to accomplish the same goal. Here is the van, the final plan is to have solar power for my Wife's work, platform bed, and some storage and that's it on the amenities. We essential want to be "tent" camping but with a van just the bare minimum. I will have plenty of questions and thoughts in the coming weeks and months.

It is super clean, found one rodent nest but doesn't seem to be a huge problem. Light surface rust on the bed of the van again not too big of a deal. I will start a build thread in the coming weeks with what has happened and what our plans are.
