New, from Oklahoma

Hi all. This is Jim & Gwen, and we're Okies, and live near Tulsa, and this is our first post. We don't have a Sportsmobile (yet), but planning to find one in within the next 6 months. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, we would love to hear. We're leaning toward the Sprinter, RB, maybe with no dedicated bathroom/shower. Since we're relatively close to Austin, would it be wise to drive down there and talk face-to-face? Anyway, any advise you can give about your experience would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jim

Go, look, see, talk, read. My Sprinter RB50 was built by Austin and it was a good experience. Nothing beats seeing for yourself, we made several trips to Fresno before placing the order.

More details will help others provide input. New or used, 2wd or 4wd, etc. Are you aware of the (long) lead times for new and the (high) demand for used?

It's a great experience, enjoy the process!

Welcome. See and check out all you can. Going to SMB is great because usually you can see a variety of build designs. Possibly find something to rent for a week similar to what you want and do a trip.

G'day,
I had a great build experience at Sportmobile West with Alan, Jonathon & Peter. They responded at all times, quickly and helpfully. PM or Post any questions, I would be glad to help.
Cheers Doug
