New guy in Florida......

I just signed up to the forum, appreciate the opportunity. I'm about five years from retiring and looking for a one man camper to travel in. I currently drive a 93 Dodge B150, have had it 15 years. Looking for a 92/93 B250 or B350 SMB (could be 86-91 also). Prefer a repairable model or the roof and fabric section to build my own version of SMB. Looking forward to learning from you folks who have been at it for awhile.

Welcome. Dodge SMBs pop up for sale periodically. Tons of information on the forum as you know.

Here's one now:

Try for a 93 and up to get the fuel injected 5.9L Magnum. Better gas mileage and towing power.

92 and up 5.2L are all Magnums.

The B250's are almost always at their max weight when converted before you load them up. Hold out for a B350. About 1900 lb higher gross capacity than a B250. 6600 lbs vs. 8510 lbs.

Not sure if you are interested but i have a 93 Ford Sportsmobile for sale in FL if you're interested. I have it listed in the sell section of the forum.

Thanks for the offer, but a Ford would be downright adulterous after a lifetime of Dodge faithfulness!

My goal is a 92/93 B350 with the magnum drivetrain, but I can work with an older LA drivetrain as well.
