Overdue Introduction

Hi all!

I'm not a very active forum member, and far more of a reader than poster, but I figured it was time for a brief introduction.
My wife and I have been proud Sportsmobile owners since 2004 when we bought our 2000 7.3 Quigley EB50 from Sportsmobile west. This was a significant upgrade from our Ford Ranger, 4 Wheel Camper set up, which in turn was an improvement over our 81' Westy (67HP??).
Over the last few years we haven't been able to travel as much as we like, but we're planning numerous trips over the next few years. I'm working now to get the van in shape for these trips, and figured I should check in to the forum and also say thanks for all the great info I've gleaned here over the years.
If anyone in the Front Range ever wants to get together, or you're traveling through on a trip, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks again,
Patrick

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Sheriffdoug, I'm embarrassed to say I haven't tried The Forks since it reopened under new management. I'll be going right by there in a week or two, have to check it out! Glad you enjoyed CO!

Patrick,
I actually went to the Forks, 3 times, as I did a special trip to Salt Lake City, UT.
I ejoyed the great food & hearty welcome. Every time I called through, they remembered
the SMB, because of the Yellow paint colour.
When I would park at a Mall, upon returning outside, it is very easy to spot the big yellow
SMB. It allways got plenty of attention, and being Aussie as well.
CHEERS.

Hi Patrick,

I think we discussed a possible van trade early last year before we sold our silver Quigley 7.3. Glad to hear you still have your van and have plans to use it a bunch. Let me know if you're ever passing through Glenwood.

Hi Nate - good to see you found a van! Likewise, if you're in FoCo give me a shout.
