yeah took out the cabinet of three drawers on the drivers side. We plan to make a shelf or something and put feet on there.

yeah mice for sure.....I just took out the fridge to clean the back...yeesh! some of my water lines exposed too....I'm either draining or modding to be more cold tolerant....Summers almost over! can't wait to ski!

I agree that winterizing the water system is important. Even driving in snowy conditions can freeze mine. I also have a flat plate to contend with. The coldest I've slept in the penthouse was when it was 8* outside. O degree bag, and only the privacy curtains down plus reflectix in the van windows. Back in the day SMB didn't do insulation very well. I wish I could do that all over.

Rear differential seems to have died. 4:10 gears and Limited slip...Its on a lift at a shop I got towed to from the highway....On Monday they will dig into it and see whats wrong....ABS light could have been activated by the rear diff sensor magnet picking up metal pieces....

Yikes. I guess I was a bit more lucky when mine went. Glad you got it all sorted out. You should be good for a long time.

Need ideas/suggestions....We have two remote key fobs one ford one code alarm

sticker on drivers window says Ford Security system.

To start the van you need to press the "unlock button on the remote. Once the truck starts all the doors are immediately locked.

How can I remove these two features? I want to be able to unlock and start the van with just a key...

Any ideas...Review of extensive paperwork that came with the van show 1 receipt for additional code alarm fob @$39....
