1991 Bronco-to-van donor

Hey, folks. I need all the input I can get on this. I currently have a '91 Bronco with the usual body cancer. However, the drivetrain is solid. I was wondering how much of it I could use as a donor for a SPORTS MOBILE build, if any. Also, if it's possible, what specific van would be the most compatible. THANKS!

You could move the front axle and transfer case onto an pre-94 E150 (basically, pre-ABS). I'm not sure you could use anything else, and an E250 or higher would be too heavy.

You'll have to trim the front crossmember and probably modify or fabricate the brackets that the axle half-axles mount to, plus shorten the fuel tank, but you might be able to just install the Bronco rear tank instead.

Not personally, no. But I've seen a couple write-ups over the years using F150 parts.

BTW - to adopt the Bronco/F150 TTB to the E150, you also have to lengthen one of the axle shafts, because the van frame is wider. Doing is a TTB is the hardest 4x4 system to DIY.

Is the front Bronco TTB a Dana 44 or 50?
