5 sp?

Just picked up my 2012 e350 quigley. 70 mph 3.73 gears 245 17 tired 2000 rpm? When i push the tow button no change in rpm? Is this normal?

Yes. Tow Haul does not disable overdrive. What it does it enables automatic downgrade engine braking, and holds lower gears longer.

So my old v10 with 4r100 when you pushed button it dropped to third. So fare cant count 5 gears

The 4R100 had the overdrive off button (same with the 4r75 and the 5r110 behind the diesel).

The Torqueshift is generally smoother shifting under light loads, but if you hook up a trailer and put it in tow-haul, the gears will be more apparent.

Have some miles on it now and I can feel all 5 gears. Just getting to know it.
