Ravelco here! -Mention you’re a AAA member or LEO and get a decent discount. The Ravelco guy came to my work and was done in less than 1.5 hours.

Also, being a Chevy, I also have OnStar, which will not only locate my van after its stolen, but slow it down so the thief can not get away fast, and when the van is stopped, OnStar shuts it down.

As far as LO/JACK, save your money, many patrol vehicles dont have LO/JACK locaters anymore. It was cool when it first came out but was hit and miss at best. Many of our type of vans go to South American after being stolen and LO/JACK won’t help south of the border.

A better option than LO/JACK is a simple vehicle tracker. $50 + $25/ month, no cancelation or activation fee; activate it when ya travel, deactivate when not needed, or pay the $25 a month and always know where your vehicle is.

^ Got the https://www.findmespot.com/en/index.php?cid=128 myself. A little over $100 to buy but they do "half-off" sales fairly often every year. Then it's $16.50 a month. Unless they tow it to a covered storage unit, I'll find it. It sends me a text every day to let me know it's working. Could not be happier with this device and service.
