Advice and opinions

I have been lurking and reading forum for a long time and finally decided to post. I purchased a 7.3L E350 last year with the intention of turning into a sportsmobile and possibly doing a 4x4 conversion as well.

I went through everything mechanically and started with the project and then like with others...I stalled out on it. My question for the forum is should I finish with some of the cosmetics and spruce up or just sell as is?

I really would love to keep but my kids both wanted motorcycles and I really needed a truck and toy hauler combo to satisfy our needs. My wife is pushing me to move it but it's not complete.

Would you rather buy a blank canvas than a rig that someone started to personalize?

It does have a custom front prerunner bumper and 3 Proc Comp lights which in total set me back just over $1,000. I don't want to pour any more money in, but I want it to present better.

Any advice, opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated

thanks,
Jason

Re: Advice and opinions

Highly unlikely you'll get a dollar for dollar exchange when modifying it to sell it.

Sell As-is is my bet.

Agreed - kind of like a house remodel!

I may be interested in the lights, if you're interested in selling them. My email is c7frontiero@gmail.com
Cheers!

If your new truck is a Diesel, keep the van as a backup tow vehicle
