Re: Age Limit on SMB's

Before I bought my 2005 V10 in 2008 I talked to a fellow in my town who has a 2000 V10 4wd with 200k +. He loves the van and the V10 and had never had any issues with it. The advice I got from Quadvan was to find a 2005 or newer because the tranny would be the newer model 5 speed. It took me 2 years to finally find one. I would not have any concern with a van with 70k on it. I would go through it completely from stem to stern and replace all fluids and any rubber that is cracked. Only being driven around 7000 miles a year means it has been sitting for much of it's life which is as hard on a vehicle as anything else.
Have fun.

Re: Age Limit on SMB's

Diver110, I have a '99 V10 Quigley with 111K on it. It is awesome. I have not had any major mechanical issues since I bought in '08 with 86k on. I would recommend this van to anyone!

Jeesh, I was hoping to be able to go with 2003 or newer, now its 2005 or newer. Pretty soon it will just be new (grin). Can I ask you what you paid for your 2005 and the miles it had?

Re: Age Limit on SMB's

In 2008 I paid $15,000 with 35k miles for the van before any conversion work.
