Aluminess rear tire Holder rattle

07 E-350, with the bumper tire rack on driver side and tray on the pass. side. I cannot seem to find a way to get both the latches to fit tightly. Have installed new bump stops. Does anyone have a good fix? Perhaps just a short ratcheting strap between the two?

Re: Aluminess rear tire Holder rattle

I've never had an issue but have got rid of the all thread bolts in the hinges from day one. If you lift either gate while open is there slop in the hinges? I also find you need to tighten the bolts now and then.
