Could you replace the faucet with one that already has/is a hose attachment?

Supplied an attachment for my new to me SMB, per previous owner. I have not used it yet, but it attaches to the stock faucet for exactly what you are wanting. Forgot to add that it has a shower head on it that has some flow controls.

Hi Frank,

I had the same situation and found a great solution.
I bought a male adapter from ACE Hardware.
13/16" x 20 Thread.
It will screw on to your faucet, (once you remove the housing for the screen.)
The bigger thread will screw on to any garden hose.
I got a 4' long hose. Anything longer will tax your battery as the water pump works harder to maintain the pressure.
I bought a lever activated spray nozel attachment, with 5 different settings.
Set your desired tempature, and leave your water pump on.

It works great!

Good luck!

Yes.. You want to use a screw on socket type. I bought a slip on type and more often than not, it popped out with water spilling everywhere.

I have used the same setup with the flat water hose that came with the van. Works great and that hose is 20 feet long. I use it to wash down a diesel spill if the pump overflowed or splashed diesel around the fuel door. I too had to take the screen out and install the adaptor.
