Anyone running 325/65/18 tires?

Trying to get any feedback on this size with regard to clearance issues.
Also any picture with this size on the SMB.

thanks,

I don't know the answer but I'll reply since no one else has

My guess is that since that's a 35" tire it should fit on an SMB 4x4 conversion but might not if it's a Quigley. It might rub on the sway bar but should clear the bushwackers.

Re: Anyone running 325/65/18 tires?

I don't know for certain either, but it would be the same diameter pretty much as a 315/75/16 that a lot of folks have used, just a wee bit wider. Wheel offset may come in to play with the wider tire too.

My comparison likely isn't too relevant since my van is from the dinosaur era, but I recently went from 315/75R16's on 10" rims to 295/75R16's on 8" rims and was able to adjust my steering stops a bit (ie have a slightly tighter turning radius now.)

I don't know if it helps but you asked for pics so here's what my rig looks like with 315/75/16 Duratracs. The rims are ATX Mojaves which I think have 0 offset and I do get rub on the sway bar in a tight turn.

Re: Anyone running 325/65/18 tires?

I suspect at full turn a little rub on sway bar. When I look at current 295/70/18's at full lock, I have approx 1/2 an inch or slightly more.

I was hoping to see and speak with someone who has this size to really confirm.

thanks for input

I couldn't help myself and had a gander at your gallery. Are those sweet looking rims the ATX Artillery?
