I would sure think so.. We had 2 Thule awnings and 2 12'6" SUPS up there with no problems. Lots of weight on the POp top. We have since moved the awnings to the gutter/s.
Not the weight that I'm worried about, more the fact that the canoe bow and stern may hit the PH roof on an EB (not an issue on an RB because the roof is short enough to allow the canoe ends to hang over front/back).
