Has anyone been to Chaco Canyon recently? I plan on arriving there on April 28th and was wondering what the roads were like. I'll be coming in from the route 550 side. Driving a Chevy 3500 van. Thanks.
Call the park office. They will have the best Intel. We were there with our 2WD SMB in 2013 and the road just about beat our van to death. Rangers said it was the worst washboard they had seen on the road for many years. We had to get the van realigned in ABQ before continuing our trip. But it was worth it. Very cool place, especially staying overnight.
