Cloning the SMB table and need measurements!

Hello all,

I am going to copy the SMB table and I am looking for some measurements. I am looking for a length measurement of the vertical post part of the table. Also if anyone can measure from the ground to the top of the hole part of the tripod that would be most helpful as well.

Thanks in advance!

If you haven't seen these they make the job really simple. The standard height poles are available complete.

Table Components

It looks like they've changed suppliers. PM Larrie (username) and he can get the name off the ones I put in my old van/his new van. These look a little different but probably similar in quality. They allow you to avoid the big holes in the floor that SMB and other RV converters used to do.

Thanks Scotty, sounds like Rallypanam had an extra set so I won't need to order the legs at all, just make a new table top and order the top mounting plate! Score!

Hi 86a I just posed a question in the flooring thread.... are you saying I could bolt a table leg onto a plywood floor? Thanks

Maybe also of interest to you in your table-crafting/cloning endeavor:

Not sure if this guy would ship it or not, but here's someone selling a complete Sportsmobile table (with legs) in Sacramento. Of use (at the minimum) here is he quotes specific dimensions for his table, with a couple pictures.

Sportsmobile Table - $75

Sportsmobile table.
3 piece

27.5" Long
18" Wide

Here is the link to the Sequoia table leg system that Eric put in my van, Sequoia table leg system. It is also available on Amazon.

We actually find the 25" table leg to high so am going to cut it down.

Thanks for posting that Larrie. I couldn't remember the brand and obviously they have a lot more options than Panther RV stocked when I bought that setup. Anyway, as noted above, Panther has changed suppliers and I like the Sequoia stuff you have better.

Whoda' thunk Gander Mountain of all places would stock RV tables?

Larrie, I might steal some of those table top ideas, thanks! I am looking to have a table top for outside and a smaller table top for inside the van.
