Any tips for finding and replacing just the mirror itself, not the entire plastic enclosure. Is this something a windshield/auto glass company would do? Perhaps I can do it myself, I have not yet attempted to remove the broken 2 pieces.
On mine it was one unit (top and bottom mirror) I was able to purchase the mirror thru my shop from Ford which was much less that a person off the street. I don't know if there is a parts store that can supply at a cheaper rate. You might want to look. I had a friend do the change and he said it was simple....I'd rather pay a qualified person than to make a mistake that costs me more.
