Hey everybody,
I looking for new wheels for my E350 econoline van, 2003 4x4 Quigley. I would like to go with 18 x 9 wheels, but don't know if they will fit, does anyone have suggestions on how big i can go without cutting out the wheel well.

Hi Russell,

Check out your local Les Schwab. They can assist you with all this. They are more expensive, but I have enjoyed their service. There prices are not set in stone. They will attempt to price match.

Another thing you need to consider is the wheel backspace (BS) and offset (OS). This is very important when it come to wheel bearing life and drivability. Another consideration is the weight rating of the wheel itself. You don’t want a light duty pickup truck wheel on a heavy rig like a Sportsmobile.

This is what im considering, it is light weight but 1 piece construction.

Good looking wheel for sure. Not sure how much you take the Van off pavement, but the taller the wheel the less rubber between you and the ground - you'll have less "absorption," so your ride will likely feel more harsh. With a sidewall that isnt as tall, you're limited in results when airing down.
I'd stick with the 18x9's.

Thanks for all the great input, I have some research to do! After browsing the Agile offroad web site I will consider a 17" dim. if it is available. I have see how it makes a difference when increasing the center of gravity.
My van only has a 4" lift now and i'm not sure if it will stay that way or not.
I appreciate any related issues, concerns or suggestions you may have encountered with your own van of the same model.

id still be running 16's if my brakes would allow me. the more sidewall for off road the better.
