Cutaway

Has Sportsmobile started doing Cutaway conversions yet? If so does anyone here have one? It sounds like a sweet ride.

I saw a video tour of Sportsmobile west recently which showed them building out a couple of cutaway vans. They said their business has transitioned to 80% sprinter vans now. The cutaway does look like a winner but the price tag is awfully steep. Fact is, the sprinter vans just don"t measure up off road so if you want to really have more options the 4X4 conversion is where it's at. I rented a Sprinter 4X4 tall and a Ford E350 4X4 and there really is no comparison. The tall sprinter was overall more comfortable but the CG was high and I had no confidence off road compared to the other van so I am interested in either buying a used E350 or waiting it out to either buy a new cutaway or buy a used one.
