Re: danhard servicing and repair
I would look at places that work on ambulances or big rig repair shops, as APU's become more prevalent that run these types of air-conditioners. I have a StarCool which is somewhat worse, Most ford dealers or independent air conditioning shops did not want to look at it. RV shops were usually worse, if it was not a roof mount they did not know about it. I did find a place that had a tech that was not afraid to work on it, but it was not as easy as one would think. The design is not anything overly difficult that someone with air conditioning experience would have any difficulty working on it , the bigger problem was just finding somebody to look at it.
That has been my experience, at least.
