I need to modify my DIY PH bed platform to make room for the rear latch assembly when the room comes down. Anybody got the measurements for this? How wide / long does the cutout need to be?

I think I made my DIY cutout about 5"x5". It was big enough that my kids could cram their stuffed animals through (and they thought it was hilarious to bombard dad while he was just waking up below).
I had older style latches - the newer ones might require a little extra throw.
