Thanks MK...I feel the same way and you helped me realize that (the feeling good about it)...it made me feel like the old site did...SMBr's sharing road pics and tips like a family...ie., I made a point to do the Gravelly b/c of the forum and members talking about it...like a recommendation from a trusted friend/relative...without the captions, it doesn't feel that way...

Just came up with another reason it would be nice to have captions; so noobies like me know the names of trails to AVOID! Just saw a bunch of photos that came up in the random photo section that are examples. I think they were by DesertSMB. They were group photos of an outing that may have been in Anza Borrego. A real narrow section with spotters, tight turns, and LARGE rocks. I would probably bend our big 'ol Sprinter if I tried to follow the gang on that trip - not ready yet!

Yes, that was in Anza Borrego. It was the trail from Fish Creek up to the Diablo Drop off.
