Dual Hitch Receiver / Dual Receiver Hitch

This would solve a problem I am having.

http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/it ... iver/34685

I could leave the spare where it is until I get an aluminess tire rack. It would allow me to tow the boat on the lower receiver and carry a cargo rack on the upper.

I can work with a 400 lb max tongue weight. Does anyone have any good or bad experience?

Thanks

Tom

No personal experience, I do believe they effectively reduce you're tongue weight since there is more leverage, not sure how close you are with you're trailer.
This one looks to be a better / stronger design though, and would would be able to use the same draw bar.

Re: Dual Hitch Receiver / Dual Receiver Hitch

Thanks SS

This one seemed to have the highest rating and the best finish:

(cheaper on Amazon but they don't list all the specs).

I'm going to have to use and extension adapter to clear the rear bumper also, so the tongue will be reduced as will total but my beloved boat (Sea Pearl 21) only has a tongue of about 100-150 and my cargo bag will only have light stuff so I think I'll still be well within safety margins. Total boat weight (with trailer) is around 1000-1250 loaded).
