EB50 show n tell in San Diego?

Hey Everyone,

Looking to poke around in someone's EB50 and get a tutorial and any pointers you have to share? Currently working on putting in an order with Sportmobile West for a 4x4 version and just want to make sure I have all the knowledge possible before I spend way too much money.

If you are in San Diego and willing, let me know, I would appreciate it.

I'm in San Diego and willing, however we do not have an EB50. We have a RB with an aisle layout. I'm located in Ocean Beach if you do want to see it (it is a 2007 build).

Hey sdwindansea.

Thank you for reaching out, i really appreciate that. It is really the specific layout I am trying to get a feel for at this point. I have looked at a few sportsmobile, just haven't got to spend a lot of time in a EB50. So I appreciate it, but I don't need to take up any of your time either.

Hopefully I will be joining the club soon enough though.

We have an EB50 and are out in El Cajon, it shouldn't be a hardship to show you around. However this weekend we are camping Friday and Saturday night, I'm not sure what time we are expected back on Sunday.

If you are really in a hurry, swing by Green Valley Falls campground, I'm sure we'll be easy to spot.

I have some thoughts on the EB 50, you see, we are actually making plans to rip out the interior and do a different layout this winter. Something with a central aisle and 4 captains chairs up front to get the kids up front where there are windows.

The -50 layout is really the nicest out there for 2 people traveling, you have a nice open space in the middle of the van when camping, lots of space behind the couch for storage. The downside is that the couch is way back there without a view, the ride is bouncy and you can't have a conversation between the front and back without yelling.

Tad,

That would be great, no real rush, nor does my schedule allow for a ton of opportunity. Maybe you can just PM me when you are back in town and give me a few times and dates that would work for you. I really appreciate it.

Your insight will be great, because I have an 18 month old daughter and planning for another, and A LOT of this is for them. So I want to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

Have fun this weekend & look forward to meeting you later.

- Geoff
