Extreme air compressor failure

Anybody ever rebuild one or send it back for repair? I can hear the solenoid clicking so it's getting power. Just over 400 bucks to replace it so if they can be repaired on the cheap I'd like to hear for those who have done it.
Thanks.

Have you checked the breaker? My breaker sits next to the 100amp relay, and its located between the solenoid & compressor (just in front of my starter batteries).
Couple months back I thought my Extreme Air seized (I had been through high water couple months prior to that). Contacted manufacturer and we concluded it was either the 100amp Relay or the air pressure 145psi switch...so I replaced both - Wasn't either. Turned out when I had the new Maher starter installed they failed to reattach the cable.

Thanks It's getting power as I can hear it (the relay) click. Maybe it's the relay stuck or a bad pressure switch. I'll bypass all that stuff to see if I can get it going. Hope it's not the compressor itself.

Where did you find parts for it, the manufacture?

Yes, I called Extreme Outback to discuss (and made the purchase through them). I also made contact with Peter at SMW...both came to the same conclusion.

If you have an extra battery (or a set of jumper cables) you can "test" your compressor directly. Biggest issue is getting to the contacts. If it engages, you know the problem lies elsewhere.
