For Christmas, Scatter came to town and helped me change my oil, filters, BOTH differentials, transmission fluid/filter, transfer case oil, both fuel filters, cleaned the EGR valve, and removed doghouse to check for leaks etc.. What a guy !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Gotta love it!!!

For those non-SciFi fans on the board, a sonic screwdriver is the do-everything-just-when-he-needs-it-tool of Doctor Who. Pretty much the textbook definition of a deus ex machina.

Doctor Who is the main character in a British SciFi TV show of the same name. The series ran from 1963-1989 then came back in 2005 and is still in production. Every few years the Doctor "regenerates" which allows a new actor to take over the role. They are currently on the 11th Doctor.

Not yet. But it is something I'd like to take care of before my next major trip. Then I'd feel better. I'd put in a BulletProofDiesel EGR cooler and never worry about that again.

Thanks for that.

My wife got me a GoPro!

Now we're off to Red Rock Nevada for the last week of the year.

Happy New Year everyone.

The Doctors sonic screwdriver does not always work. It cannot do anything with wood or systems that have been deadlocked. It is also easily damaged, especially when eaten by a shark.

Probably sooner for me... I'm starting to blow coolant... hmmm wonder what that might be? maybe a plugged oil cooler boiling out the EGR. I have a scan gauge arriving in 2 days to verify my delta T.
