How many get out of Ford e-250

There is a SMB Ford e 250 on the smb site. Has over 90,000 miles on it. Assuming it has been well maintained, how many miles can one expect out of that engine? 200,000 reasonably safe?

I'd say it depends on the engine. A newer 5.4L or 6.8L should have better durability/fewer leaks/etc than a 5.8L(351)

Either way, expect minimum 200k on a gas and 300k on a diesel. Expect a rebuild 5.8L to be cheaper than an 5.4L or a 6.8L

Lastly, I personally would avoid a Ford 6.0L diesel. Dmax is a much better engine. I know that is a point of controversy, but 6.0L problems are well documented

"94 E-250 5.8L here. 204,000 miles. Change oil at 5000 mile intervals and do not have to add oil. I use Valvoline 30W.
