Gee I bought 2 new tires the day before and drove 78 miles when it happened, other side lugs were all loose. Know a good lawyer?
I was pulling my trailer I thought it turned over.
Wheel rolled a mile up the road, lucky it didn't hit anyone.

WTF? Did ALL eight studs shear off?? Over torqued?

When you say the lugs on the other side was loose, were any of them sheared as well?

Yikes!

ALL 8 SHEARED OFF
That's what I thought at first, but now believe never tightened properly.
Tire shop printed on receipt torque specs not available, like what kind of a tire shop can't look that up? DO NOT USE AMERICAN TIRE DEPOT in Granada Hills. also says Tire Inflation Not Available

Wow, sadly that's not the first time we have heard about this kind of thing here, but who would think to check the lugs after a visit to a professional tire shop? Glad no one was hurt, and hopefully, the guy who did the work is looking for a job in a different field.

I would choke the bitch at the wheel shop over that. Make take out their knee with a tire iron? That must have been frightening to go through
