If Jeremy Bentham Was Alive and Had a Computer.....
...he'd ask how many "utils" did you get out of your SMB today? Ok, assuming some of you didn't take ecomonics, political science or political philosphy, Jeremy Bentham thought everything could be discussed in terms of utility (you get this much utility for this at the expense (utility) of that). Don't even get me started on Hume, Mills, etc. So, let's take Utilitarianism to the next logical step: What kind of utility service did your SMB perform today? In other words, what did you use your SMB for that is out of the ordinary? Don't forget the pics!! For example, I'll begin:
Today I hauled three tons of hay and a number of 12' 2x6 cedar boads (hauled the boards inside my SMB). Now, that's a "Utilty Vehicle."

Does this count?
I drove my SMB 25 miles to Matamoros, Mexico and filled it up for $60.

Pssht. I can fill my SMB up for $60 any day. I just leave one side of the diesel island and pull around to the other... bam! $60 fillup.

My bad.
If it makes you feel any better, it took me 45 minutes of idling to get back across the bridge into Brownsville.

Keepinng you whacky kids on task is like herding cats. Ok, hay is done. Hauled a total of 12 tons of hay with my SMB this past week or so. Did it in 4 3-ton trips. What a pita.

The only two times I've "utilized" my SMB is to return my niece to Indiana in 2007 (at 10x the cost of plane ticketes) and moved my sis-in-law's junk out of her boyfriend's house (violating my "the SMB is not for moving, carting, or picking up anything" rule) and into our rental which also cost me money as she didn't even fully pay the 1/3 normal rent we asked for.
