Is this for real?

I got this in my email today from the GTRV mailing list.

"Hi there! I was wondering where to put distilled water for the batteries in the back. In the online manual, there were instructions to keep the batteries in water. Is that correct and if so, can anyone help to answer that?

Thanks,"

My distilled water fill spout is next to my blinker fluid reservoir. They're not all like that?

How many people asked about this (or tried it!) before these articles had to be written?

Swayze knew the benefits of doing so in the radiator, however.
