Seems to me they have been...possibly due to the death of the Econoline? Makes me want to hang on to mine for a very long time.

The general consensus on our planet and way of life has brought on a new tread of being able to bug out and survive.
I speak to a lot of travelers and this is a general thought conveyed in discussion.
I am not discussing politics, but a current thought process.
Prices on the rise= trend= more either like minded or dumbasses LOL

Sportsmobile told me the only ones they will convert to 4x4 are 2010+ V10's with less than 60k. Not an easy van to find. I am sure they will do interiors. They are pretty dedicated to the Sprinter though. The Classic is coming along from what I saw, but it looked like only two prototypes in the shop.
I definitely noticed prices staying pretty tough on these rigs. I plan on keeping mine a long long time.

We hashed this topic out not too long ago. http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...ite-18598.html
Amazing that I can sell my 2005 for $20k more than what I paid for it as the 3rd owner in 2010. Glad I'm not in the market. Just about any other vehicle only depreciates in value.

Well outfitted vans are getting a premium as the Econoline van is kaput. Shame. I overpaid for mine last year but realized that fewer were going up for sale and the prices were going up and not down. Since purchase I have made several upgrades and intend to keep it for a long time too. Those new MBs look really nice and have a lot to offer but as there is no MB dealer for 200 miles, I'll stick with my Ford. It's simple supply and demand.

We'll be selling our 2004 E350, RB, 4x4, Lockers et al soon. It has 73 K miles. The inside is insulated, wired for solar with house battery in a hideaway at rear. Swivel seats, PH Top; it's tight vehicle and a powerful crawler.
Painful to see it go, but here is where we'll offer it so it stays in a group of people that will take care and improve it...

Correct. But in this case, It'll be Catch and Release. We'll both end up with what we need I'm thinking...
