Leaking windows

Anybody ever heard of a 100dollar diagnostic fee when wanting your windows resealed?

NO that's a total BS fee, did they provide what so called diagnostics they did and what tools they used? Or if you haven't dealt with them yet can they show you what they do... ?

They said they blew air around the seals. I hung up the phone after that wasn't sure if that was something common for those window guys

I'm in the autoglass business, blowing compressed air is good for finding leaks.
It's a DYI thing... free.

Wasn't sure. I told the guy what windows are leaking. My van is gutted so I know what windows are leaking and it was a fee still. Thought that was a little absurd

Yes totally absurd and a bogus charge... I'd find another shop. They should find the leak or know where it's if you tell them and fix it, and only charge for that... But if you know where the leak is I'd just fix myself... oh and I blow air all the time and never charge a soul
