Locker options for E350 with RSC

I have been searching for have not found exactly what I want so I thought I would ask again. I have a 2012 E350 12 passenger wagon with RSC. 5.4L engine if that matters. I have only owned the van for a couple months but 6 times I have left the hard, and 6 times I have been stuck. I am not talking hard 4x4 stuff here. Wet grass and fields. 4 wheel conversion would be nice but its not going to happen today. A locker would probably do what I need. What are my options. from lowest price to best. With Part numbers or links. I am concerned about the RSC working with a mechanical locker. Will a mechanical locker allow the RSC to work as it should.

I have the same problem. I can’t put out the money for the 4x4 either. There are a few options I have found. 1. Get better tires. I went with cooper st Maxx and not regretted it. 2. Go with a 17” aftermarket wheel. I found mine for 200 for 4. This allows you to put a strap through a 1.5” pvc pipe through the wheel in 5 spots. This makes them like tractor tires. Look at trac grabbers. You’ll get the idea. A 16” wheel doesn’t have the clearance. 3. Go limited slip for at least 1500. I was told by someone that if your going to get stuck with one wheel. Then you’ll get stuck with a limited slip. You will just get stuck a little farther in. Leading to doing necessities 1 and 2 above. I chose to do those two first. I’m still waiting on the limited slip.

Again. Just my experience. Others may have better ideas.
