Re: Looking for a mechanic in San Diego.

My good friend, Gary, owns Blades Automotive, 2750 Kurtz St, San Diego, CA 92110
(619) 298-2595.

Old Skool auto repair that everyone is happy with - he has worked on several San Diego SMB's and does a lot of van work for the Airport Shuttle businesses in the area.

I used Gary for some brake work several years ago on BajaSportsmobile's recommendation. Really nice guy and seemed to do great work. I would recommend him as well.

Re: Looking for a mechanic in San Diego.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I used Blade's Automotive because of the recommendation on this site. I am very happy with the work done and will be returning for more. They fixed a fuel leak that was caused by an incorrectly installed fuel pump by a Firestone service center (done when the previous owner had the van). They also put in all new motor mounts and fixed an exhaust leak. The price for all the work was very reasonable.
