Looking for experienced member in SF bay to look at a rig

Hi all,

Me and my wife have been in the market for quite awhile for a SMB and found one that looks promising in San Francisco. I wanted to see if there were any members in the SF Bay area that could give it a once over seeing that i live in Colorado, i would be able to compensate you for your time. its tough to get all the specs and condition of the vehicle over email.

Thanks!

If it's the RB50 for $23,900, you should just go buy it and inspect it later. The price is so insane, the guy is going to have a mob at his house.

I told him the same thing. Haven't heard anything. My guess is he has 1,000 emails in his inbox all saying the same thing. Best of luck to both of us.

If this is the van you’re looking to buy, wow! But I’d be very cautious. This may be stolen, or the add may be placed as an identy theft scam. Be very careful sending this guy your personal info/ money. I recommend you verify the vin. Look to see if the public vin is there, how its attached, and verify it with the registration and vin number on the firewall before purchase, and have your local PD run the plate/ vin to see if it comes back to the same vehicle/ owner.

$23,900 is way too cheap for this rig. Unless the owner died, and the family just has no idea what it costs.

Assuming its from this add: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto...690442268.html

The ad seems legit. I emailed the seller and he emailed me back saying there's a deal pending and if it falls through, he would let me know. If it was some sort of scam he would be trying to get everyone to buy this van.

I disagree, those pics are to "perfect" for a "for sale" ad.

I saw this ad this morning about 9 hours after it was posted after midnight PST and figured I was too late. There are few guys in the San Francisco Bay Area, very quick to get a hold of any sellers in the area with a decently priced unit and have ready cash. I once just happened to find a posting under 2 hours old and called the seller right away. Seller already had two offers.!

I was a little leery of the ad myself and looked at the license plates. Was really suspicious for a moment when comparing the front with the rear plates and found them different. That is until I saw that the existing letters in the rear matches the placement of the front. Seller edited plate in rear and forgot the front.

Appears to be a good, clean unit. High feature count. Great price. I'm guessing this one is done.

My only hope is a flipper buys it and sells it to me at a decent price.
