I finalized my choice of sound system/navigation/alarm. It's a real nice system. Just over $6K. Holy crap!

Yikes!!! I thought I got it all! Buji, I never even heard of half that stuff.
Yes, I went with the Kenwood 7100, the MB quartz speakers and a 6 channel amp, separately powered subwoofer, Sirius, Bluetooth integration, Full Nav, iPod interface, keyless remote entry and alarm of some sort, and the full dynamat treatment.

Update: 6-29-07
My rig's been up on the rack for about two weeks. Lots of stuff has been installed, still a little to go. Then I have three or more weeks to go for the rest. Eternity!
You can see the 4WD, new fuel tank, Amsoil filters, ExtremeAir Magnum compressor and tank, ARB locker compressor, underfloor storage box, springs, shocks and transfer case.

Got a delivery date!
Finally, I got the email telling me the delivery date for my van, now dubbed 'The Delta Flyer".
I'm picking it up on August 2 at 9 AM. Got the car rental reservation already. After orientation and purchase, I'm heading up over Monitor pass and then down 395 through Bridgeport, Mono Lake, Tom's Place, and Bishop. Then climbing Silver Canyon to the top of the White Mountains (rugged 4x4 road, low range required). I'll be camping along the way for three nights. Then down to Lone Pine and the long drive through the desert to get home.
Git 'er Done!!

Congrats. Pls post a trip report and let us know how the new SMB handles Silver Canyon. That is quite a steep and exposed climb in a few places.

How long is the total production time on your SMBs? I see the website says 8 weeks. I am tired of scratching at my SMB wild hair so I am thinking about biting the bullet and ordering in the very near future but was really hoping to get it by the beginning of October.
