I am in the process of building an Econoline van and I have run into an issue. I installed a flip down door from SMB on the drivers side for a permanent propane tank. Now that I have the nice door installed and cut a big hole in the side of the van... I am not able to locate a new tank for it. Do any of you have a lead on a tank? I am looking for a 10 Gallon tank with the fitting pointing straight out, not angled down.
New is preferred, however a used one that is good enough to refurbish is ok as well.
Thanks for any advice.

The links above are all for Manchester brand tanks. They make them 2 ways...RV type and van type.
On the RV type the fittings are somewhat on the side of the tank (below the centerline) to be exposed when you open the flap door. The van style have the fittings horizontal but near the bottom of the tank for vans. The GoWesty tanks are van style.
Any luck with you propane tank search? I want to install the same 7.9# tank SMB uses. But can't find out what the brand and model number is. Do you know? I would buy new off the web if I had that info. It seems it is a very tight fit and other tanks on the market may not work.

I found SMB West to have the best price, and their tank fits without modifications.
