First WELCOME CDACamper!!! 2nd, WOW!! 1DER!!! What a complete list and things to look for!!! If EVER in the market again, I think I'd love to take you with!!!!! Bravo for sure!!!
The only input I have is for the airbag light on, ours started when KTG (wife) rotated her seat/passenger side the opposite way we usually do...it ripped the seatbelt wires out of the connector...Ford dealership fixed with new connector and labor($180) and reset light....hope that helps! Again Welcome to the fun, the Forum hosts some real experts in the ways of mechanics, use, and destinations...you won't regret it! Hope to hear of your FIRST trip report soon!! Remember LOTS of pics!!!

It could be something else with the SRS system....but the seat belt pyro wires are an easy first step...I was fortunate and the yellow connector pulled apart. Plugged it back together and the SRS dash light went out...no wires to fix.

Man your math is out there. $11k to address actual needs? Lots of your "needs" are on you as the buyer. You're buying a 19 year old RV and have some high expectations. It doesn't "need" an Agile RIP kit.

I fixed the Suburban furnace for under $100. All those parts are still available.

Seals mentioned are important and belt is a definite need. Listing bulbs that need replacing? Man that is weak. That is a $5 project. Brakes and rotors sure that is negotiable. You might have $5000 to work with. $11k I would tell you to pound sand. That is a $40k van that needs love not a perfectionist. You'll find these old vans need a few grand a year to keep in tip top shape. Constantly needs something so you do one project at a time. Like some magic van fairy is gonna fix this one back to new...geez

If you can get a 4x4 RB50 for $25k you will have stolen it from that guy. The last one on here was a diesel and that sold in less than 24 hours at $40k. No one was taking that to a mechanic that fast. There was another v10 2x4 RB50 that sold to the first person who saw it for $29k.

If it looks good, but it for as close to $25k as you can but i wouldn’t expect him to come down lower than $30-35k. You’ll never find another that cheap. Especially local to you.

At $25K you are likely wasting your time and the sellers time..........

The high stop light in my SMB penthouse top was wired by twisting the wires together and then wrapping them with electrical tape....typical Sportsmobile quality which is nothing to write home about. That's a 1 banana repair job as far as difficulty goes.

..just looked at your pics...full floater rear axle.....

great hard to find color.....a bit of rust on the chassis....

..bumpers are interesting....

Nothing offends me, I am just a no BS person. You're already well ahead of the common CL buyer by bringing it to a pre purchase inspection. Also coming here and asking questions. That van will eat your wallet over time. It is 19 years old and just got oil changes and brake pads. Expect to have to fix every item on that van minus the engine and body. Expect the seller to not budge much on price. Expect to have a project. If you love it, do it. I've done it multiple times now. I remind myself of it all the time that I keep old stuff running well for the passion of it and I still spend my time and money on a depreciating asset that brings me joy.

I think you may need to manage your expectations. Just because you want to spend 11k on a 40k van doesn't mean it is only worth 29K, just as putting 11k into a 40k van won't make it worth 51k.

If you want something with less issues or a newer vehicle it is going to demand a higher price. Can you get a better for the same amount of money? Perhaps, but it might not happen quickly.

Your other option is do it yourself, or some of it yourself. Find a van with good bones, do a 4x4 conversion, and do an interior build out. There are DIY kits available. You will hit 50k in no time, and likely come out with a product you are more comfortable with. It's probably going to cost more and take a whole lot longer though.
