Re: Overall Height

I have a 2006 SMB 4x4 with penthouse top and 33" tires and it fits in my garage which has a door 8' tall. It clears by less than 2 inches. When I had the solar panels added, I asked SMB several times if it would still fit in the garage, and they said yes. And it does... but it's close!

Yeah, but those seem to be the 2WD vans. The 4x4 conversion seems to have added 4" to my van from their spec.

Re: Overall Height

I have the Sportsmobile 4x4, PH, and 307/70/16s (33") that are new, with Deaver Springs:
Height: 93 5/8"

The garage is 96 1/4", and before the Deavers and new tires I had at least 4" of clearance, so I'd guess more around 92, 91" on old 285s with the SMB springs.

Re: Overall Height

Well is seems obvious that it's not going to fit into our garage. Our garage is 29ft deep but only has a standard door. The SMB we're looking at (in person in a few weeks) appears to be your vans twin Jage.

29' deep garage? I'm jealous.

Re: Overall Height

My garage is tiny, but by putting the front bumper under the stairs and not being able to open the rear doors, I can just squeeze around the back tray and open the side doors, as long as I'm standing between them and leaning back into the wall. Which just goes to show, length doesn't matter if you don't get to use it.
