Penthouse bed cross section view?

I've been thinking of redoing my Penthouse bed this winter. Does anyone have a photo of what the "insides" look like? I'm curious as to how the frame is built out, etc. Photos of a deconstructed one would be great, or a cross-section, etc.

Really just plywood? No other framing? Seems like a pretty long span for just plywood, even 3/4”, if the grain is running lengthwise. Or is it two pieces with the grain from side to side instead of front to rear?

Garage
Plywood has the grain in layers going both ways. When I redo my upper bunk it’s going to be a multi layer ply

Yep, it's just very basic 3/4 plywood with 4" standard foam and upholstery. I've had mine (on Rusty) apart but I don't think I took any pics.
