Just got through dealing with the spring binding on the 70s carpet they used to line the track. That was fun.... top wouldn't budge since the carpet had gotten loose from the track.
I finally got it removed and ripped out the whole piece.
Wondering if anyone else dealt with this? Any downside to leaving the carpet out (perhaps just a bit more noise?) or do I need to mess with replacing / reinstalling it?
