I also see some guys are Raptor lining them,is this a SMB addition or did you do it yourselves.

Spend the money and have it Rhino lined. Some of the colors matches are different but the white looks great on my van. All you have to do to clean it is spray it off with a hose. I hated waxing mine and the rack made it almost impossible to do. There are several threads on how to do it yourself. Consider weight if you have a pop top.

Blowby: having had many gel-coat boats, I would advise against doing anything where you won't be able to get at it frequently with waxing. That rack is going to make it nearly impossible to maintain, so you won't and then it will go bad. Heck, gel coat and painted surfaces even get cracks with the best maintenance because the sun is beating down on it. The raptor and rhino linings preclude that maintenance and protect the shell with a hardened layer.

When I was at SMB Fresno in April, they were doing the coating, whether onsite or off I don't know, but it was part of the deal (as an option) when you ordered. I don't remember if it was Rhino or Raptor or something else, but a quick call would answer that.
