Pop Top to High Top Converion Options

Has anyone converted their poptop to a high top in a way that you kept the poptop hardware so you could convert back if you or a new buyer ever wanted? Is this possible? What are high top loft sleeping options? Can you still sleep 4 with a high top? I've been trying to search so if topic has been covered and I'm missing it feel free to just tag that string. Thank you!

When you install a hightop they are usually bolted or screwed down. The bolts or screws will be outside the canvass area of the current poptop. So going back would require patching holes.

Yes it could probably be done but would not be an easy project.

My fixed high top is not as high as a pop top so an upper bed might feel claustrophobic and getting in and out would require a lot more squirming and scooting if you decide to go that way. Not that it couldn't be done; just something to think about.
