Propane quick-connect hose - where to buy?

OK, finally getting around to getting an external stove for 'Moe' and it came w/ the propane quick-connect sytem that enables you to hook up a gas grill, lantern, stove etc... and run it off your main propane tank, I'm so sick of dealing w/ my 12 yr old Coleman 2 burner white gas stove and just want to plug in a 2 burner propane stove and turn it on so we can do all of our elaborate meals etc outside and save the internal stove for basic chores like heat water for the coffee press or the quick pot of pasta.

Problem is, it looks like an air compressor type fitting that 'snaps' together and all of the hoses I have seen so far in my limited searching have all been the threaded variety that screw onto a std propane tank.

I only would need a 5-6 footer, any suggestions?

Cheers,

D

It's a common fitting, and once in a while I have found them at a Lowes or Home Depot. But, the best bet is to go to a propane outfit like Amerigas. Just check out Gas-Propane in the yellow pages. They can make up any length hose with any fitting you want. If you're not sure on the fitting, take the stove with you and they can set you up.

Good Luck

Can I get photos of your propane fitting? Location on the van etc. I'm thinking of adding this to my rig- I have propane heater and water heater only.

It does. I'm going to find somewhere else to put it!
